this is how i enjoy life ‘eh? i got a corona by my side, counter-strike up and running, and my beautiful angel looking at me. yep, but sadly i am shackled down by the harsh reality of a military life. besides the obvious, i came here to talk about something different then this colorful void of my life, my web home. as you readers should know, i am deploying to iraq ( OIF ) and since its rather difficult to maintain a website while rounds are whizzing pass you and its even harder to edit a web design when motars take out your internet communications shed. the design i leave it with is the design that is going to stick for more then 7 months or even the dreaded 12 months. over the course of the night, and a few coronas, i began to redesign the header and decided that the header wasn’t too great, so i just redid the whole layout to a left side design with an flow header from the left side. i think it came out alright, but on the roll of images on the header, i think i may have added an extra image where it wasn’t needed. you decided if i should remove one or two of those…
alright, now next to all this, i figured out that all great domains have a logo. then i drew up this sum, i have no logo! why? lazy? nah, i am simply untalented when it comes to logo design. i can’t seem to sum up all of a website’s content into a single image. perhaps that part of my brain is missing or just out of order for right now. well, needless to say, i quickly searched for logo design and came across an article at Graphic Design USA these logos are great. i’ve been reading on how to create logos for about an hour now, but i still can’t create something so vivid and sharp as those logos. i was thinking of something circular to be squeezed into the left side of the gray box. i’ll end up having to move the text to the left a bit and put the nu logo there. problem is, its 2.57 in the morning and i still don’t have a logo. if you have any ideas on a logo or any comments on the nu design, please tell. i’m dying to see what my public thinks; if i have a public.
