how do you see Hitler as? an evil, sick and twisted person is what post people have told me. i know he had a real bad side, but did anyone see the otherside? up until away, every nazi film i saw was about how horrible everything was for the jews and etc ( except for Schindler’s List, that movie was great ). i’ve read a few books on Adolf Hitler and hey, i ain’t saying the guy is a buddy of mine, but everyone is a human being before their a horrible thinker. he was a military man. a man of power with words and a man of ambitions. i don’t know how i missed this but a while back, a film came out called “The Downfall” or “Der Untergang” which tried to show Hitler as himself without the horrible coat of the war and the weight of Jewish sympathiest. i doubt the film made it to America but i wouldn’t know. i was in Japan and that is where I heard about it. the film was a smash box hit in Germany and it had good reason to be. some people can be very immature when it comes to the subject of showing somebody as they were even though they know more about his bad side to make him seem like a horrible moster. sad how some people can’t see past the screen of tolerance and maybe have some sort of dignity for a great film.
