besides the distrubing news that six people in Yuma, Arizona, my previous home, were murdered. this is to included three children, it has been quite a eventfuly fun weekend. i really hope the murdered gets caught. Yuma seems to have a large problem with gangs and drug crossing dealing with Mexico. I was there doing alot of work trying to stop this at the Chocolate Mountain Range. poor people.
friday, i had to get off leave and go back to work. after work, i went to Hiromi’s house. on saturday, Hiromi had to work all day from 0900 to 1600 or 1700 and then after that, she was going to a party for her sister’s daughter’s first birthday. she wasn’t going to be back for a looong time. with this in mind, i thought to myself, hey, just go back to base. while at base, i got a tip that said we were going to have a midnight formation. this due to of course some Marine in our company getting in trouble. as rumored, we had a formation at midnight and it wasn’t pretty. i guess now all the rules about signing out of the barracks and the liberety buddy policy will be enforced. i could careless knowing that in june i will be leaving to iraq ( or rather, the US first for training ). on sunday, i went back and had a blast at the annual Kinser Festival. i’ll be posting about that probably tommarow. ( actully, lemme split this post ) this is kinda just an update, so look foward to that post about the Festival with pics and a video!
