Alright, so now I have some down time and I can spill some beans on what I’ve been doing and etc. The main reason I haven’t explained what I’ve been doing or where I’ve been going is due to the fact that one, I don’t have my laptop, digital camera, and quick internet access. If I did, I’m sure you guys would know alot more then your suppose to know as civilians. Next to that, I just can’t make the time. Training was a 24/7 thing and it wasn’t everday that I saw a moment to spare for some writing. But with that said, I can tell you that I will be leaving for Iraq in the first week of Sept. I plan on going home to San Antonio for one week prior to this and that we are leaving 29 Palms sometime in the next week. The training is complete and we couldn’t be happier. Once I get to San Antonio, I plan on picking up another laptop and a digital camera while I am at it. As soon as I get into my old groove again of fotographing my time, I will quickly update ya’ll with images of myself and my area. Iraq will be an experience of a lifetime. It feels great to be in history; bad or good, I could careless. All I am worried about is coming home in one peice and making sure the person next to me comes home as well.
