- Osaka, Japan
- Chicago, Illinois, USA
- San Antonio, Texas, USA
Its 8:26 AM and we are ready to go. Hiromi and I will soon finish packing up whats needed and head to the Naha Airport here in Okinawa and begin our travel to the United States; San Antonio, Texas being our final destination. I can’t wait. This isn’t her first time, but I plan to make this time more memorable then before. For two weeks she’ll be with me. I am so excited because usually, I have to stay on base and miss the week with her, but not these two weeks. Its two weeks of togetherness with her and my family. I can’t wait to show her Mexico. I know it ain’t the best place in the world, but its still home to me. We’ll eat, drink, and enjoy the night life of our sister country. Alright, time to go. Our cab is waiting and time is ticking. I hope you don’t mind that it may take me awhile to get internet connection in San Antonio as per, my family doesn’t have the internet ( we had, but since I left, they turned it off ) so I’ll have to visit Starbucks and write while I am eating/drinking. I’ll take plenty of photos so expect that stuff to be posted. Oh yea, I’ll update the blog as to where we landed and what time it is there and when we are leaving. So here we go….

Wow, almost seems like you’ll be next door, but not really. San Antonio isn’t that close to Nashville. Have a great trip!

No my friend, interracial relationships are rare in this world. I’m in one, and I wouldn’t take it back for the world.

I took those little “notes” out of the post, but what April was talking about was the fact that in Osaka, people stared at Hiromi and myself because she is Okinawan and I am Mexican/American. It was quite funny, but hey April, your right, I love her and I wouldn’t change her and the fact that she is Okinawan only makes things better because we are always teaching each other new things, everyday.

Two weeks, although one of them might be short due to a visit to Mexico.
