Well, so its began and its been going on for two days and we are about to start day three at 0330. Counting an entire battalion’s warehouse worth of gear is great for your legs and mind, and basicly your entire body. Hits all the spots just right. I just can’t wait til the big tents need counting.

So, our wall-to-wall inventory is going on. Sleep is not required. We’ve worked hard and broken our backs for counts and re-counts and we still can’t get it right. Either way, it needs to be done quite soon ( before weekend ) and it isn’t looking too good. I’d say the best part of the work we HAVE done is that we’ve done the hardest things to count first leaving the big, easy items for last. Waking up at 0300 and the current eating habit is taking its toll on me and I am starting to grow very tired of work. I wish I could work on my DASF ( DASF is what I work, its basicly a report that shows what I have on order for my unit, what is being shipped, where it is at, and what status it has ) and accomplish the task I had at hand. Oh well, its ok. I just recieved my new cutting score ( its a score in the military that shows how you rank amoung your peers ) and I am due for promotion come the 1st of July. I’ll be a Corporal, a E-4, and a Non-Commisioned Officer. Lots of goodies in store for me. I can’t wait.

Well, I am very tired so its time for a nap. My Armani clothes should be here any day and I just got a hand held GPS thingy so I can start Geocaching here on Okinawa. Sorry, but I’ll post alot more once my warehouse is complete. Kinser Fest is coming also, and HOPEFULLY we get off on the weekend so we can enjoy the food and music that it has to offer. Stay tuned for photographs of that. Adios!
