Alright, so I haven’t got an entry in within what? The last week? I’ve moved bases! I am no longer part of 3d MRB, now I am part of the 31-MEU and I am in the 31-MSSG. The MEU is a Marine Expeditionary Unit meaning it is a rapid deployment unit. We can be ANYWHERE in the Asia area within 24 hours if not less. It is made up of different mini battalions such as a Command Element and some Battery Companies. I am part of the Combat Logistics Battalion containing Supply (my detachment) and Motor Transport and a few other detachments. And so far, so good. Besides the second rate equipment we are on, it seems like a nice shop. I’m liking it.

Well, unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to get internet because we haven’t actually moved into our permanent rooms for the next six months. I am living out of my boxes and bags until we do which should be soon. I won’t be posting a lot because I don’t have the means to and also because I’ll be busy at work and in my off time I’d like nothing better then to stay in my room and chill. Rather then trying to get my laptop off and search for an internet connection just to post and read feeds, I’d like to get everything resituated first. Maybe I will post, I don’t know.

Well, a quick update in my life is that Hiromi is kind of upset that I won’t be able to see her EVERY weekend like I use to down on Kinser. I think this will change once the 5^th comes of this month because not only do I pin on Corporal (E-4) but I’ll be a Non-commissioned officer and I’ll get a gold card enabling me to stay out pass the midnight curfew. Marines,only us. If you didn’t know, Marines have caused some trouble in the pass on Okinawa so the General imposed a Cinderella curfew upon us. I think it started back around late 2003 or early 2004. Marines, based upon their performance and conduct, get either a red card or a gold card. The red card holders have to be back on base by midnight while the gold card holders can stay out all night and return at anytime. I so far have had a red card but,.Marines don’t always follow the rules so don’t ask me how I stay with Hiromi over the weekends. ;] Oh yea, by the way, she is in Tokyo, enjoying the wonders of Disney World. I gave her my Lumix FX8 to take pictures so hopefully she returns with an album of color photos. I told her she could try, but I bet she wouldn’t fill up the 1007 photo space on the gig stick.

Besides the move and that, nothing much else has happened. Although I can’t wait to get internet, I ain’t dying for it. I do miss counter-strike, but hey, now I’ll finally play that F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault Recon) game I bought. OoOo Scary looking! Alright, holla!
