Something that I always notice about Japanese people is the way they leave their shoes/sandals when they take them off when entering a house, padded area, or anything. Now, you’re probably asking what is so funny about that.
Well, it isn’t funny until you see them trying to get back into their shoes without loosing their balance. They have years of experience when it comes to getting back into their shoes but every now and then you get lucky and see them topple or struggle with gravity.
You got to wonder why they don’t just take the time to spin around before they take them off and by doing so they’ll save themselves the trouble of dealing with that possibility. When I come to a point in time were I have to remove my shoes, I simply do the turn ( as you can see in the photo ) because I know I’ll fall like a mofo. And if I had a few drinks,WHOO!!! Watch out because I will not only fall, but I’ll tumble all around and roll like a dog. I remember a few times when that’s happen.
I love it.
Now every time that Hiromi is putting is on her shoes or sandals, I tend to push or shove her into a frantic frenzy of swinging her arms around trying to catch something to break her fall. I’m such a good boyfriend.
