My office delivers top notch humor at half the cost of those plays on Broadway and the best thing of all is that this show is never ending. Recently waves of hilarious quotes and moments have arisen while in the work place due to the staff viewing a series dubbed The Office. The show is a copy of the U.K. version and is aired on NBC and stars Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski and a few more improv actors. On a scale of 1 though 10 on the fun-rictor scale, this rates pretty high at around 9. I hardly go out and get a DVD series unless it was recommended to me and this one, along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force all prove their worth within a few minutes by me almost choking on some sort of food.

Now having mastered already so many lines and scenes from the show, we have started to match up personalities to one and other to match those that we see on The Office. Certain people act certain ways so they become characters in the show. We have our annoying idiot, our funny idiot, our serious guy, our strange guy and of course our no-clue guy. The antics that are produced every hour are enough to fill a 15 mintue short. If only we had enough funds for a nice camera, we could probably pull off our own little bit huh?

The motivation of course is the fact that if we didn’t produce these antics we’d all become zombies with our minds lost in the numbers on our screen and papers. It’s not a pretty site to see someone who genuinely works. If we actually cared about what we were doing,Oh my gosh. I can’t even begin to fathom what we’d become. Similar to when an octopus lets out ink when it feels threaten, we stop working and joke around for a bit when things haven’t been spiced up in awhile.
