Today, for breakfast, I ate nothing. Then in the afternoon, two cheese burgers for lunch. Finally evening came and I had some rice, bread and a pop-tart sized baked fish slab. I know what you’re thinking. YUMMY! Perhaps it’s just the fact that half the calories that I need to run a normal day weren’t there or maybe because I had so much to eat but it is now 8:05 PM and I am DYING of hunger. Time for a trip to the local shoppette for some unhealthy snacks!
Sounds like a once in a week or two kind of deal but it isn’t, not in my line of work. We don’t ALWAYS have time to get the full nutritious meals that we need and we train like fucking mongrels with these meals? Wow. Now, with all these fatty, unhealthy foods entering my system, and yes, at my own fault I know, and thank you very much for pointing it out, I am bulking up. Sad, I thought I’d never see the day. I can’t stand by idly while my body turns from Vin Diesel (according to my fiancĂ© who only speaks the truth) to any one of the million of fat people in the world. So, like many bloggers who spend twice the amount of time that a “normal” person should on a computer without exercise, its time to start working out the fat.
Although I don’t know how much I weight now, I will find out shortly when I go weigh myself sometime tomorrow at the gym. The guess is around 150lbs + but if that is the case, fuck, I need to lose weight fast. I can’t stand having this extra luggage around. Sucks sitting in the car and you look down and see the F A T hanging over your belt. FUCK! Also people have told me that I gained weight and that face is fatter. How lame is that shit?
I will run whatever PT we do in the morning but also along with that at 11:00 AM I will do a light job to start off. After a week I will kick it up. During the evening I’ll do a few jumping jacks, we call them side straddle hops, and then crunch my stomach until I can’t get up without rolling on the ground. This along with watching what I eat should shed off a few pounds until I move into our apartment and get a membership to the local gym. What is the healthiest TV dinner? Now that I can’t munch on Hot Pockets…damn.
P.S.
This blog is is excellent for tips and tricks on running. DaveElger.com He use to be a runner here on Okinawa!

Yes Dave. But I had a question, what is the most effective way to run and lose weight? Does it have to do with clothing or lenght?

you have to clean up that horrible diet- no excuses. pretty hard to run off extra fat without a change. you know the drill- oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, some kind of a snack, sub or something for lunch, snack, and reasonable dinner including a couple of veggie servings and some lean protein. be crative if you can’t eat normally- you can add slimfast to coffee as a snack, tuna and crackers, fruit, whatever. you can’t allow yourself to go too hungry. you’ll overeat every time. I must eat 20x a day when I am training hard,

But Hokka Hokka Tei is soooo good!
Yea, I have been hitting the tuna alot. Omega 3 fatty acids. So any kind of running combined with a healthy high carb diet will eliminate that fat?

a little more to it than that - i wouldn’ say high carb but plant-based with some healthy protein. the more veggies the better. spreading out your calories throughout the day, cutting most of the junk. how much beer?

Plant based huh. Goya to the rescue! I use to drink alot of course. You know Marines….but now I try to limit myself to just two or three and some shots on the weekend and during the week, maybe 1 beer per two days.
Oh yea, I’m still here. And I’m staying here for another 3 years. Loving life!
