Dellnix is my p.o.s. laptop created by Dell. A Latitude D610 that I got cheaply from the government without a wireless card, less then 256 mb of ram and sticky stuff from stickers scrapped off the top. They remove everything from the laptop and give it to you clean without an OS, but the funny thing is that their Windows XP CD-Key sticker is still left on the bottom so any freak with a cd of xp ( which is everyone ) can just use their key to install XP.

I took a different route and installed Ubuntu Linux; gave it a stick of 1gb ram and a fresh little compatible wireless card. And I have to admit, I enjoy spending time on this box more then the others. So much, that I’ve made it my main communications box, meaning all my chat clients are on here and email boxes as well. With the help of linux I have yet to crash in about 1 month. Still going good. Ladies and gentlemen, Dellnix.
