flickr: Poker Hands

So far I am loving my new EF 50mm f/1.8 lens. I can safely say, this lens is leaps and bounds over the default kit lens. I am still in the market for a wide angle lens and a sharp telephoto lens. I found a fella that is selling a used EF 70-200mm F/2.8L USM. It was owned by the LA Times and it has a bit of scratches on the outside, but with the price he is selling it, I don’t mind that. If I do pick it up, I plan on painting the outside of the lens black or camo much like the lens & cameras used by the US military. So I am really hoping he responds to my PMs. PLUS! It comes with a 1.4x Extender that he is giving with it too. If this falls through, I’ll be still looking around for a used one or saving my money up for a new 2.8L; probably not IS because I don’t really need to be shooting in the dark with it.
