flickr: Me With GIMP Editing

Just decided to upload a picture of me in the classic self mirror shot. I now have three pieces of glass and they are fun as hell to shoot with! We all know about the kit lens that comes with the XTi; the 18-55mm shit lens; but I also have now, the EF 50mm f/1.8 II and the amazing EF 70-200mm f/2.8L telephoto lens. Noticed I bolded that L because that stands for Luxury! I haven’t really been out and about just to shoot, just the usual shoot as I go along thing. I need to, but work is so busy. I hope this Sunday I can break free and get out and shoot some stuff with the zoom. Now, I think my next lens purchase will have to be an ultra wide angle lens. We’ll see what I can find. Lata!

PS: GIMP isn’t the best thing to edit photos in. Actually, it doesn’t even have any native support for Canon raw images. I knew I should have left this linux machine behind and taken my XP lappy. Oh well, live and learn.
