What is RSS?
RSS aka Really Simple Syndication are feeds from websites that contain content, links, articles and photographs. Using a news reader or aggregator, you’ll be able to recieve daily updates automaticly without having to visit the actual website.

How do I use RSS?
Before you can use a RSS feed you’ll need a aggregator or news reader.

If you are on a Windows machine you can use RSSOwl which I suggest because it is open source and FREE! Perhaps a feature rich and heavily customizable news reader is what you want. Yes? Then drop the cash for FeedDemon ($30).

Now if you are on a wonderful Apple machine, I’ve heard of a free AmphetaDesk and a very good NetNewsWire ($30) and NewsFire ($19).

Besides these great program based readers you have a whole web of online news aggregators. Here are just a few:
